As a Jamaican born immigrant and one of the first in his family to attend college. Bobby is a dedicated champion for inclusive economic growth and education.
Bobby started his journey as a early pioneer of social entrepreneurship in Detroit, Michigan.
At 23, having never started a business, he created the largest supplemental education fencing program in America, managing thirty school programs which reached over two thousand youth annually. Growing revenue from zero to $1M in five years.
At 30, he went on to become the portfolio manager of the Black Male Achievement Fund and first-ever Senior Advisor of Thought Leadership at one of the world’s most prestigious impact investors for social entrepreneurs, Echoing Green.
Currently, Bobby acts as an organizational development consultant and program manager for brands like NASDAQ, Black United Fund, and Rock Ventures/Quicken Loans.
